Sila, inside your
own assistant.
Connect Sila to Claude or ChatGPT on your own subscription. Ask about your day, your week and your territory in plain words, in English or Arabic, and let it plan visits for you when you approve.
Things to ask
- “What does my week look like, and is anything overdue?”
- “Which accounts need a visit this month?”
- “Which areas of my territory have we never visited?”
- “Put Dr Rami’s clinic on Thursday.”
- “I just met Dr Amal at Noor Clinic; she wants samples. Add a note and plan a follow-up in two weeks.”
Set it up
You need a Sila account in an organization whose administrator allows AI assistants, and a Claude or ChatGPT plan that supports custom connectors. The connector address is:
https://almanarsystems.com/api/mcp
Signed in to Sila, the same address and the steps are under Settings, Connections, with a copy button. Leave any client ID or secret fields empty: the assistant registers itself.
Claude
- Open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
- Name it Sila, paste the connector address, press Add, then Connect.
- Sign in to Sila if asked, choose your organization, decide whether the assistant may make changes, and press Allow.
ChatGPT
- Open Settings, then Apps and Connectors, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
- Back in Apps and Connectors, press Create. Name it Sila, paste the connector address, choose OAuth, press Create.
- Approve the connection on the Sila page that opens, as for Claude.
Claude Team or Enterprise
- The workspace owner adds Sila once, under Admin settings, then Connectors, with the connector address.
- Each member then opens Settings, then Connectors, and presses Connect next to Sila.
- Each member approves it on the Sila page, for their own account.
What it can and cannot do
The assistant works as you: it sees what your role sees in Sila and nothing else. Changes need two permissions, your administrator's and yours, and the assistant shows every change and asks before making it.
It can read
- Your day and your planned week, with the reason for each visit
- Accounts, their usual visit rhythm and when they were last visited
- Contacts (phone numbers and email addresses only with a separate permission)
- Your territory: areas, places never visited, the best prospects
- The month’s coverage and the reports your role can see
With your permission, it can
- Plan your week and apply the plan
- Plan, move or skip a visit
- Add a note and who you met to a visit of this week
- Add or update a contact, and create an account from a facility
It never can
- Check in or out of a visit, or track location
- Change invoices, expenses, inventory, territories, members or settings
- Delete or archive anything
- Make any change without showing it to you first
For administrators
In Sila, open Settings, then AI assistants. Three switches decide who may connect: managers and administrators, representatives, and whether assistants may make changes. They are independent, and turning one off disconnects or narrows the connections it covered at once.
Every request a connection makes is recorded, every change it makes appears in the activity log with the assistant named, and every connection is listed under Settings, Connections, where you can revoke it. Access lasts at most 90 days before the member approves again.
Data an assistant asks for goes to that assistant's provider under its own terms and may be processed outside the United Arab Emirates. See the privacy policy.
Disconnect or get help
Revoke a connection in Sila under Settings, Connections; it stops at once. You can also remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT.
